In the early 1950's as the ROC economy gradually began to grow 1950 a wide number of industries found themselves in the early stages of development. The China Productivity Center (CPC) was established on November 11, 1955 with the express purpose of assisting those fledgling industries enhance productivity. It was both the first and the largest management consulting agency established in the ROC.

In celebration of the CPC's 50 th anniversary, colleagues across Taiwan simultaneously climb Tatun Mountain in Taipei , Taipingsanting Mountain in Sanchung, Huhsing Mountain in Tainan , Chai Mountain in Kaohsiung and Jade Mountan.
